The Petzl Am'D Screw-Lock is a D-shaped locking carabiner specifically designed as a belay biner. 

Also suited to connecting to descenders or lanyards, the Petzl Am'D Screw-Lock has an asymmetrical aluminium design that ensures its light weight. The Keylock system facilitates easy use and manipulation, even when wearing gloves, and the SCREW-LOCK version has a manual screw-lock with a red band that provides a visual warning when the carabiner is unlocked for safety.
